PLEASE READ THE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCESSING THE “SITE” OR USING ANY PART OF THE SITE OR “SERVICE” (BOTH AS DEFINED BELOW).

Mail-In Repair Terms and Conditions

By submitting a mail-in repair request to AVS Electronic Services (hereinafter referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (the “customer”) agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your mail-in repair request.

Repair Eligibility

  • Only devices that are listed on our website or explicitly stated in our service offerings are eligible for mail-in repair.
  • The customer is responsible for providing accurate information regarding the device, including the model, serial number, and a description of the issue.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service for any device deemed unrepairable or outside the scope of our repair services.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Device Packaging: The customer is responsible for securely packaging the device to avoid any damages during transit. We recommend using a sturdy box, bubble wrap, and sufficient padding. Devices that arrive damaged due to improper packaging may void the warranty on the repair.
  • Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the device to us unless otherwise specified (e.g., prepaid shipping label provided). We recommend using a trackable shipping service and insuring the device during transit. We are not responsible for lost or damaged devices during shipping.
  • Device Data: It is the customer’s responsibility to back up all data before sending the device for repair. We are not liable for any data loss or corruption during the repair process. If necessary, the customer must remove any passwords, passcodes, or other security measures that may impede our ability to access and repair the device.

Repair Process and Timeline

  • Repair Evaluation: Once we receive the device, we will perform an evaluation of the issue(s) and provide a repair estimate. If the device is deemed unrepairable, we will inform the customer and return the device at their expense.
  • Repair Timeline: While we strive to complete repairs as quickly as possible, repair timelines may vary based on the device and the nature of the repair. We will provide an estimated completion time once the device has been assessed.
  • Payment: The customer agrees to pay for the repair service in advance (if required) or after the repair is completed. Payment must be processed before the device is returned to the customer. Accepted payment methods include [list methods, e.g., credit/debit cards, PayPal].

Warranty and Liability

  • Repair Warranty: Repairs are covered under a 30-day warranty from the date of completion. The warranty covers only the specific repair work performed and does not cover pre-existing issues, user-induced damage, or problems unrelated to the original repair.
  • Warranty Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:
    • Damage caused during shipping (both inbound and outbound).
    • New issues that arise after the repair, including damage caused by the customer’s misuse or failure to follow device care instructions.
    • Problems unrelated to the original issue.

Return Shipping

  • Return Shipping: After repairs are completed, we will return the device to the customer using a trackable shipping method. The customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs unless the repair includes a free shipping offer.
  • Shipping Address: The customer must provide an accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for devices returned to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

Device Ownership and Data

  • Ownership: You confirm that you are the legal owner of the device being submitted for repair, or you have been authorized to submit it for repair on behalf of the owner.
  • Data: As noted in the Customer Responsibilities section, we are not responsible for any loss or corruption of data on the device during the repair process. If your device contains personal or sensitive information, you are solely responsible for securing it.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mobitechxpress, its affiliates, and its employees will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Site, Services, or any other content, whether or not Mobitechxpress was aware of or should have been aware of the possibility of such damages. In no event will Mobitechxpress’s total liability to you exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for using the Service.

Termination of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a repair if the customer violates these terms and conditions, provides false information, or engages in inappropriate behavior.

Repair Authorization

By accepting the Service, you authorize Mobitechxpress technicians to perform repair work on your electronic device. You acknowledge that while Mobitechxpress technicians are trained to work on electronic devices, Mobitechxpress is not an authorized service provider. You agree to release, indemnify, and hold AVS Electronic Services, LLC (DBA: Mobitechxpress) harmless from any claims or damages arising from the repair work performed, except in cases of gross negligence by Mobitechxpress agents or technicians.

Abandonment of Devices

Mobitechxpress will contact you when your device is ready for pickup upon completion of services. You acknowledge that if you fail to pick up your device or make arrangements for its return within sixty (60) days (or any longer period required by Texas law) following the completion of services, your device will be deemed abandoned and will become the property of Mobitechxpress. Mobitechxpress may dispose of or otherwise utilize the abandoned property at its discretion, including selling the property to recoup administrative and repair costs, in accordance with applicable law.

Repaired Parts or Device Ownership

Unless otherwise required by Texas law, all replaced parts, components, or devices become the property of Mobitechxpress. You waive all rights to the replaced parts or devices, and Mobitechxpress may dispose of or use them as it sees fit, subject to applicable laws.

Notice: On iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max devices or newest version will show an ‘Important Display Message’  if the phone detects that the screen or battery is a non-genuine replacement. The message in a new support note that explains how a non-genuine display can impact certain functions and why it’s taking an approach that doesn’t stop owners from using the device but could affect future servicing. If a display isn’t genuine the Important Display Message appears on the lock screen for four days and in the Settings app for 15 days. These notifications don’t affect the owner’s ability to use their display, 

By authorize Mobitechxpress to replace the screen or battery of your iPhone 11 or newest, you assume all responsibility for any malfunction such as color, resolution or any other difference from the OEM screen (or battery) caused by the installation of a Non-OEM. The replacement of your screen or battery is at your own risk. Mobitechxpress is not responsible for any damage / malfunction of your device that you may encounter after replace it. In the event that “You” request and “We” authorize that the OEM (original) screen or battery be installed back, you agree to pay a 25% of restocking fee of the repair cost.

Manufacture Warranty

Repairs performed by Mobitechxpress may void any manufacturer warranty, especially on iOS devices. Mobitechxpress does not assume liability for voided manufacturer warranties but may offer its own warranty on parts and services provided.

Limited Warranty

Mobitechxpress offers a 30-day limited warranty on parts and services performed. If a part provided by Mobitechxpress is found to be defective, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from mishandling, water exposure, improper use, unauthorized repairs, or modifications. The warranty is void if there is evidence of tampering or damage due to misuse or environmental factors.

Updates To The Term of service Policy

MobileTechXpress reserves the right to update this term of service policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated “Effective Date.” We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any updates.
