MobileTechXpress will not browse through any personal, private or confidential information or data; however, technicians may inadvertently see data during the course of their work. Customer is responsible to removed any confidential data from the device prior to having repair work performed on the device.

Please be aware that if you are receiving services at your home or other location, the service provider may be able to view anything visible to visitors in your home, which may include personal information.

For services such as technology consultations or in-home repairs, with your consent, the service provider may need to access your device to perform services requested by you such as changing settings, backing up your data, or provide technology set-up or advice.

The service provider may need to take photographs of your device to confirm that it is damaged and has been repaired. Be aware that any information displayed on your device or surrounding areas may be visible in the photo.

Data loss term

MobileTechXpress is not responsible for any loss of data that may be incurred as a result of work performed on the electronic device. Customer has the option and responsibility to back up the data on the Device and to delete, encrypt, or protect data from unauthorized use before allowing any repair in the event of data loss and hardware or software failure. MobileTechXpress will not back up or restore your data, and is not responsible for any data that is lost or corrupted. MobileTechXpress will not treat the data on your device as confidential and disclaims any agreement with you or other obligation to do so.

Data Collection

When you visit our website, our servers automatically collect the following information from your computer or device:

  • IP Address
  • Information automatically sent by your browser
  • All information you voluntarily provide.
  • All information you voluntarily provide is stored on our secure server, or until you request we move it. Your credit/debit card information is stored in a payment authorizer’s physically secure data center using industry-standard encryption.

  • Cell phone number

  • Electronic Serial Number (“ESN”) or International Mobile Equipment Identity (“IMEI”) data

When you place a request, we provides your name, billing address, and credit/debit card information to our payment authorizer to validate and charge your card. When we processes your order for shipping, we only use your name, shipping address, and email address to ship your order.
